Hermes Wingtips #96: take back your last message

posted 2026-10-09. original: https://x.com/witcheer/status/2108518464134484398

sent something and want to ask it another way?

/undo

it removes your last message and the agent's reply from the chat. the agent carries on from the message before it, so you can ask again the way you meant.

handy when you change your mind halfway through a chat!

Hermes asks before it removes anything: approve this once, approve from now on, or cancel. /undo changes the chat, not your files; for files the agent changed, that's /rollback with checkpoints on (Wingtips #33).
